Two students have been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a girl in a bathroom at East High School.
Madison police say the incident happened around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Two males, both 15 years old, were arrested on tentative charges of second degree sexual assault of a child. The alleged victim was a 15-year-old female student.
Police say the School Resource Officer at East was notified about the assault Thursday by the female student, who said two males sexually assaulted her inside the bathroom the day before.
The Madison Police Department says one suspect was arrested Thursday night. The second suspect was taken into custody Friday morning.
