UPDATE (WKOW) — A 45-year-old man is in the hospital after being shot in the lower abdomen late Monday night in Sun Prairie.
Police said three male suspects wearing masks were involved in the incident.
Witnesses said two suspects left the scene in a vehicle, the other ran away.
The shooting is believed to be a targeted incident.
According to authorities, the victim is in stable condition early Tuesday morning.

SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) — Police say one man is in the hospital after a shooting late Monday night in Sun Prairie.
The Sun Prairie Police Department says the shooting victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
A dispatcher at the Dane County 911 Center said the call came in at 9:17 p.m. about a possible shooting in the 500 block of Athletic Way, which is near the Prairie Athletic Club.
Officers are now interviewing people on scene so they can identify a suspect.
No one has been arrested.
