Madison man sentenced to 11 years for eight bank robberies and gun offense

A Madison man was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison in connection with eight bank robberies in the Madison area.

Kiefah A. Marbra, 19 of Madison, was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for his role in a series of bank robberies carried out in Madison, Middleton, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie, according to a press release from United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin Scott C. Blader.

The robberies were carried out in early 2018. Marbra, Jonathan Thompson and  Robert Minette were indicted by a federal grand jury in May of 2018.
