Teens arrested after vehicle backs into Madison police squad car

MADISON (WKOW) — A police response to a west side Walgreens Thursday night ended with a vehicle backing into a police squad car and the arrests of three teenagers.

Police say it all started with a disturbance at Madison East High School. Officers were able to get a license plate of a vehicle involved in the disturbance and later saw that vehicle at the Walgreens on Raymond Road.

Police say officers made contact with the people inside the vehicle, but during this interaction, the vehicle tried to leave and backed into a squad car.

No one was hurt.

Officers say three teenagers, ranging from 14 to 15 years old, were in the vehicle. All three were taken into custody.
