-Patrick McGrath from Middleton. His 4 year old son, Sean, presented with stomach pains in January of 2019 and it turned out he had a neuroblastoma (stage 4) tumor. He has had 5 rounds of chemo and a 27 hour surgery to remove 99 percent of the tumor. (all of his care is at American Family Children’s Hospital) Sean is continuing his fight.
-Dr. Kenneth De Santes completed his general pediatric training at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and his pediatric hematology/oncology training at Children's Hospital and Medical Center, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He worked in the division of Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of California, San Francisco for seven years before accepting a faculty position at the University of Wisconsin.
