Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway today reacted to the news that a Madison firefighter was the second athlete to die while competing in last Sunday’s Ironman 70.3.
Firefighter Todd Mahoney died Tuesday after being pulled from the water Sunday morning.
Michael McCulloch of Cottage Grove died Sunday after succumbing to a medical problem, according to the medical examiner.
