TOWN OF RUBICON (WKOW) — A Baraboo woman is dead after a head-on crash in Dodge County Wednesday night, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash happened at about 8:20 p.m. on State Highway 60, west of County Highway P in the town of Rubicon.
An initial investigation shows a Ford Ecosport crossed the centerline and hit an Infinity FX35 head on.
The driver of the Ford, a 65-year-old woman from Baraboo, was taken to a hospital in Hartford where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Infinity, a 63-year-old woman from Hustisford, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other information was released.
The investigation is ongoing.
