PLATTEVILLE (WKOW) — A toddler is seriously hurt after a farming accident at a home in Platteville Tuesday night.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called to a home on Union Road at 7 p.m.
They say James Zimmerman was working in the barn and turned to shut the conveyor off. When he did, his 20-month-boy fell into the conveyor. The boy suffered a serious injury to his right arm, right hand, right shoulder, left hand, and chest, according to sheriffs officials.
The boy was taken to the hospital by Med Flight.
The Sheriff’s Office says they determined the incident to be accidental.
