Richland Center’s chief of police was placed on administrative leave after the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) began an investigation of the chief.
Police Chief Lucas Clements was relieved of his gun and badge by Richland Center Mayor Mike Kaufman following a call between DCI and city leaders, Kaufman told 27 News.
