BELOIT (WKOW) — A standoff between police and a suspect is underway on the 2200 block of Burton St. in Beloit, a city spokesperson told 27 News Wednesday morning.
Officials said a tactical unit went to an apartment complex to serve a warrant, which led to the standoff.
A resident at that apartment complex tells 27 News residents have been moved to the upper floors of the building.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area while they respond.
