The son of a N. Sherman Avenue homeowner believes more than a dozen guns are missing from his father’s house.
The father is out of town, and the son came by Monday afternoon to take the trash out and check on the residence.
That’s when he discovered it had been burglarized with gun cases targeted by an intruder, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The father could not be immediately reached and the exact number of firearms stolen was uncertain.
