A child is dead after accidentally being run over Friday with a piece of farming equipment by his father. The man was working on a farm near Dane when he ran over the eight-year-old with a skid steer loader. Attempts to revive the child at the scene were unsuccessful. Both the boy and his father are immigrants from Nicaragua. The Dane County District Attorney's Office is helping to raise money to send the child's body back home for burial.
