(WKOW) — Starting Wednesday, you can expect to see a lot of people moving on Madison’s isthmus.
Many downtown apartment leases end and begin on August 14 and 15, leaving crews to clean up a lot of unwanted items lining city curbs.
According to the city of Madison, moving days in 2018 put more than a million pounds of materials into the landfill.
You are encouraged to donate or sell your unwanted items before you throw them away.
There are specific guidelines for discarding large items and electronics.
