A bone fragment discovered in landscaping over the weekend prompted Columbia County’s sheriff to remind the public Thursday of a murder victim whose body has not yet been found.
A homeowner found the bone fragment Sunday in Harmony Grove among landscaping material, Columbia County Sheriff Roger Brandner said in a press release. A K-9 with the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office checked the property and a nearby construction site and found no other human remains.
