A teacher who had taught at a McFarland middle school appeared in court Thursday afternoon and was banned from entering the village limits among other conditions of his bond.
In Dane County Court, Andrew Meeks, who had taught fourth grade at Waubesa Intermediate School, had conditions set for his signature bond. The educator was arrested Tuesday on the tentative charges of child enticement, exposing a child to harmful material and causing mental harm to a child.
Authorities say the child was a boy, but have not revealed his age.
Meeks may face criminal charges when he returns for a court hearing Sept. 26.
