An $8 million dollar project at Madison's Truax Field is being pushed aside as the Trump administration is diverting funds for the border wall. Truax Field is one of 127 on a list of military base improvements that are being delayed or scrapped.
Guard spokesman Joe Trovato confirmed Wednesday that money earmarked for building a small-arms range at Truax Field in Madison would be diverted to wall funding. Construction had been set to begin next year.
