MADISON (WKOW) — This weekend’s Ironman race will close some Madison roads over the weekend.
For the biking portion of the race, part of John Nolen Dr. will be closed, along with E. Lakeside St. east of John Nolen, Olin-Turville Ct., E. Rusk Ave. near the Alliant Energy Center, the Rimrock Rd. ramps at the Beltline, and Badger Rd. west of Rimrock. Those closures will happen on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
From noon until midnight on Sunday — most of the Capitol Square, Observatory Dr., University Ave., and Monroe St. will be closed to traffic for the running portion of the race.
