Madison, WI. Thursday, September 19, 2019
At approximately 12:26 a.m., Dane County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with the Belleville FD/ EMS, Verona FD, Brooklyn FD, Fitchburg FD, Monticello FD and New Glarus FD responded to 7263 CTH A for fully engulfed bails of hay. The fire had been called in by a passerby.
There were several pieces of farm equipment along with approximately 200 bails of hay that are considered a total loss. The fire does not appear to be suspicious and the cause remains under investigation. There were no injures.
