Shots fired in Madison neighborhood, car struck by bullets

MADISON (WKOW) — Reports of shots fired were called into Madison Police early Monday morning.

MPD said they were notified at about 1 a.m. about the loud noises in the 3100 block of Churchill Drive.

Officers found more than 10 casings in the roadway from different caliber guns. They said an unoccupied vehicle parked on the street was hit multiple times, but no one was hurt.

Officers searched the area and spoke with people who live nearby. They reported seeing a dark-colored sedan drive away from the scene.

No further damage was found.
