UPDATE (WKOW) — The van thought to be involved in a shooting on Madison’s east side Tuesday morning has been found, according to Madison police.
Police say the van was found “unoccupied in the area of Todd Drive.”

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are investigating after a house and car were hit by several bullets early Tuesday morning.
Police say officers were called to the 5000 block of Milwaukee Street around 7 a.m. after people reported hearing up to 14 gunshots. Officers recovered shell casings, but there have been no reports of injuries.
A dark blue van with tape over a side window was seen driving away, according to police.
Police say they believe this was a targeted attack.
