Vice President Mike Pence has cancelled a visit to Wisconsin because he is being sent to Turkey to try and reach a ceasefire deal.
Pence was scheduled to appear at Uline in Pleasant Prairie Thursday to advocate passing President Donald Trump's trade agreement with Mexico and Canada.
Pence will instead travel to Turkey with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to call for a cease fire. Turkey began military action against Kurdish forces in Syrica soon after Trump announced the troop withdrawal.
