UPDATE (WKOW) — Janesville police said a suspect is in custody following a shooting Wednesday night.
According to a press release, Sauk County deputies found the suspect around 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
A 48-year-old man told police he was at an ATM around 9:30 p.m. on Center Ave. in Janesville when he noticed a van approach him. He saw the driver was his estranged wife. He heard a gunshot and was hit in the face.
Witnesses at the nearby Casey’s General Store helped him call for help. He’s been treated and released from the hospital.
