ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) — A piece of farm equipment killed a 24-year-old man early Tuesday morning on North Fox Road.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said someone else was driving the tractor when the man got off it just after 1 a.m. He slipped on a ladder covered in mud, and fell under the tractor’s rear tire.
When first responders arrived, the man was already dead.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Edgerton Fire Department, and a Mercy Health System helicopter responded to the scene.
Investigators said that no foul play is suspected, but the investigation is on-going.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
