UnityPoint Health will not merge with Sanford Health, a UnityPoint spokesperson said Tuesday. The announcement did not provide a specific reason the deal was called off.
“I’m tremendously proud of our organization and we will continue to work tirelessly to evaluate
any avenue that improves the delivery of health care,” said Kevin Vermeer, president and CEO
of UnityPoint Health said in a statement within the announcement.
