A worker at UW Madison has died after suffering injuries in a fall.
Roberto Vergara was working on campus when he fell while leaving a building and hit his head on the sidewalk Saturday. Vergara was taken to a hospital and died on Monday.
Vergara worked in custodial services and had been employed at the University since 2009.
An investigation by the University and the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services is ongoing.
