Bullets hit Madison home, woman hurt by shattered glass

MADISON (WKOW) -- A woman was hurt after multiple bullets struck her Madison home late Tuesday night, according to the Madison Police Department.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Allied Drive at 11:30 p.m. following several 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area. One caller said his mom was bleeding.

When police got at the home they found 13 bullet casings from at least two different guns nearby. At least 10 of them hit the residence or traveled through windows.

The 42-year-old woman bleeding sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of flying glass. There was also a 22-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy home at the time. No one was hit by a bullet.

Investigators believe this home was targeted.

Despite a search of the area with a K9, the suspects were not found.
