DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Dodge County officials are investigating a shooting that happened on I-41 Sunday night.
Sheriff's officials say just after 7 p.m. deputies got a report of a shooting that happened at the northbound wayside, N10048 I-41. When deputies got there they learned that a fight happened between a 22-year-old Kaukauna man and a 28-year-old Fond du Lac man. They say during that confrontation, the 28-year-old man was shot in the abdomen.
The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Sheriff's officials say they're in contact with all the people involved in the shooting and that the community has "no reason to fear for their safety."
Right now, it's unclear if anyone has been arrested and sheriff's officials say no additional information is being released at this time.
