MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a McDonald's on the city's west side.
Police were called to the Verona Road McDonald's just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
The victim, 17, said he was repeatedly struck with a handgun and his backpack was stolen.
The two suspects ran away.
The investigation into the crime is ongoing.
