JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- The man who was shot and killed in Janesville early Sunday morning has been identified.
According to the Rock County Medical Examiner's Office, 40-year-old James C. Chestnut III of Joliet, Illinois died as a result of his gunshot wounds. Chestnut died shortly after being shot on the 600 block of West Racine Street.
As of Monday morning,Janesville police are still searching for the suspect, 24-year-old Corvasie Weaver, also from Joliet, IL.
