ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A Janesville man was arrested for his 11th drunk driving offense early Tuesday morning.
Just before 6 a.m., officers were called to a disturbance between a man and a woman in the 6200 block of South US Highway 51 in Janesville.
Peter Hansen Smith, 64, left the location before officers got there. A deputy pulled him over shortly after to question him about the incident.
Smith showed signs of being intoxicated and admitted he had been drinking alcohol before getting behind the wheel. He was given a field sobriety test and arrested for his 11th OWI, which is a felony.
Smith was taken to the Rock County Jail where he is scheduled to have a court appearance on Wednesday, March, 11.
