Madison firefighters responded to house fire started by unattended grill

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Madison Fire Department Investigators have determined that the house fire on Reinke Drive was accidental.

Investigators said the fire started due to an "unattended grill being too close to combustibles."

The estimated cost of the damages is about $120,000, according to investigators.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Madison Fire Department responded to a fire at a house on Reinke Drive on Friday evening.

According to the Madison Fire Department, neighbors called 911 after seeing flames coming out of the backside of the home.

Officials said, once the firefighters were on scene, they able to contain and put the fire out in roughly 15 minutes.

All four people living in the house were able to get out with no injuries.

The Madison Fire Department said the home is uninhabitable due to extensive damage throughout the home from the flames and smoke. 

Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire and provide an estimate of the damages.
