Spring Primary Still On For April 7th In Wisconsin

(Madison, WI) -- Wisconsin's spring primaries are still slated for April 7th. Yesterday, state elections officials approved coronavirus inspired safety measures for voters including social distancing enforcement, curbside, drive thru and outdoor voting options at the polls. The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Governor Evers yesterday said instead of his office issuing the order, it is best that state lawmakers handle ordering absentee ballot be sent to every registered voter. So far the decision isn't meeting with acceptance by state Republican lawmakers in particular the suggestion not to require uploading a picture ID to accompany the ballots.
