Madison police are investigating after responding to a report of shots fired on the city's southwest side Monday.
Officers arrived on the 4300 block of Lumley Road just after 2:20 p.m., according to an incident report.
Multiple callers reported hearing three gunshots and seeing a silver car leave the area.
Police have detained one person. An investigation is ongoing.
Authorities told 27 News that no one was hurt.
