A Madison Metro bus was struck when an intoxicated driver in an SUV, failed to stop for a red signal at Odana Rd and Gammon Rd. The SUV struck with enough force to cause the bus to leave the roadway and strike a retaining wall. The Metro bus driver was treated for minor injuries and the only passenger on the bus was not injured. The driver of the SUV and its three passengers were all taken to hospitals for minor injuries. The driver of the SUV that struck the Metro Bus was processed for operating while intoxicated and was cited for several traffic violations.
