MADISON (WKOW) -- A woman was assaulted and robbed in Madison Thursday night, according to the Madison Police Department.
Just before 11 p.m., Madison Police were called to the 200 block of North Thompson Drive for a stolen vehicle.
A woman arrived home and while walking to her door was assaulted by a man who was demanding her car keys. Police said she was punched several times in the face and body.
The suspect took the keys and stole her vehicle, which was a Mother's Day gift.
Witnesses saw the assault and called 911.
