MADISON (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin Senator said he was attacked by protesters overnight as he was heading to the State Capitol Building.
A 27 News crew came across Sen. Tim Carpenter around midnight.
He said he was assaulted for taking a photo of the protest. A few moments later Carpenter collapsed and our crew called 911 to get him an ambulance. He was able to get into the emergency vehicle on his own.
