2 hurt, 1 seriously after Dane County crash

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Dane County deputies say two people were taken to a local hospital with injuries after a crash in the Town of Dunkirk around midnight.

According to law enforcement, a 19-year-old Stoughton man was apparently speeding on Highway 138 northbound when he lost control of the vehicle. He and his 18-year-old female passenger were ejected from the vehicle after it left the road and rolled.

The man appears to have minor injuries, and law enforcement says the woman was taken to by Med Flight to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities say alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- At least one person is hurt after a crash on WIS 138 near Oak Lawn Road in Stoughton.

According to dispatch operators, at least one vehicle crashed sometime after 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Both the north and southbound lanes are closed and law enforcement was still on scene as of 3:30 a.m. Friday.

While one person was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital, there's no word on how severe their injuries are at this time.
