A woman was arrested after police said she drunkenly crashed into a pole with children inside the vehicle and a woman riding on the hood of the car.
Madison police said it happened at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of McKenna Boulevard.
MPD reports Letisha Wilkerson, from Ohio, was visiting Madison when the incident happened.
She told police the woman on the hood of the car is a family member and they were in the midst of a fight when she started driving.
Wilkerson was arrested for causing injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
