DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says detectives arrested a town of Middleton woman on a homicide warrant out of Wagoner County, Oklahoma.
The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office reached out to the Dane County Sheriff's Office and officers were able to identify and locate the suspect -- 59-year-old Kore D. Adams.
Adams was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop.
The warrants out of Wagoner County are for murder in the first degree-deliberate intent and desecration of a corpse.
In its announcement of the arrest Thursday, the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office referred to Kore Adams as Kore Bommeli. For the sake of clarity in this article, 27 News will refer to the suspect as Kore Adams.
Wagoner County officials said Adams was arrested in connection with the disappearance and homicide of Talina Galloway.
KTUL-TV, the ABC affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma, reports that investigators have tentatively identified a body found in Arkansas as Galloway.
Galloway was last heard from in April after posting on social media that she had COVID-19 and didn't want to end up in a hospital. But investigators say she never saw a doctor or got tested for the virus.
KTUL reportsthat Adams was Galloway's roommate. Authorities said it took Adams 10 days to report Galloway missing, she burned Galloway's mattress and used Galloway's credit card.
Last summer, Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliott called Adams a person of interest in the case.
Adams is now being held in the Dane County Jail.
