TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS (WKOW) -- Dane County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a burglary on the 2100 block of Fallen Oak Trail in Pleasant Springs.
According to a news release from Dane County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Elise Schaffer, deputies reached the scene before 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. While the people inside slept, the thieves came in through the garage and went through their belongings.
"The suspects got away with a wallet and a 2016 Kia Optima. A short time later, the victim’s credit card was used at a nearby Wal-Mart," Schaffer said in the release.
