DANE COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- A motorcyclist was found dead in a ditch in the town of Pleasant Springs Tuesday.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office said at about 7 p.m., a person walking in the area of Tower Drive near Erdahl Drive found an unresponsive man on the side of the road. His Harley was located in a nearby field.
Emergency crews from Stoughton and Dane County responded and confirmed the man was dead.
Traffic was re-routed in the area of County Highway B and Tower Drive for over three hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
