SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) — Police are asking for help to locate an SUV they're calling a "vehicle of interest" in an October 2024 homicide.
On Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, police were called to the area of Martin Street and Elm Street in Sun Prairie for reports of shots being fired.
Police found two victims. One died at the scene. The other victim's injuries were not life threatening and the person was taken to the hospital.
Police say they've now identified a vehicle of interest: a Subaru Forester (or similar model) with five-spoke rims. Lt. Ray Thomson said the vehicle "was observed near the scene and is crucial to the investigation."
Police are asking for help in the Madison and Milwaukee areas to help identify and locate the vehicle.
