JUNEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed a fifth tornado touched down during the severe storms that hit Wisconsin on July 16.
The NWS says the brief tornado crossed I-90 south of Mauston and was captured on video. It was on the ground for just one minute, from 1:27-1:28 p.m., and had a track of 0.2 miles.
The tornado was rated an EF0, with estimated peak winds of 65 miles per hour.
The NWS says there was some damage to corn and small tree branches.
