Second victim of Highway 30 crash has died, driver identified

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Madison police have identified a man they say caused a crash on Highway 30 that killed two people.

According to the Madison Police Department, Brandon Ballweg, 25, is in the Dane County Jail after the crash on February 12. Police are recommending two counts of second degree reckless homicide, three counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety and reckless driving causing injury.

On Saturday, the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Jennifer Steiner's death from injuries sustained in the crash. Her Husband, Kirk, died at the scene. Additional testing is ongoing and the crash is still under investigation.
