A woman was killed in a crash in Madison Saturday night.
The woman and two other pedestrians were hit by a car near the intersection of South Park Street and West Washington Avenue at about 7:30 p.m.
The woman died at a nearby hospital.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Investigators say the driver was operating while impaired.
The two other pedestrians were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The crash closed the intersection for about two hours.
