Madison man arrested in connection to fatal pedestrian crash

MADISON (WKOW) --- Madison Police announced the arrest of 32-year-old Kong Vang of Madison.

Vang was arrested for homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, 2nd degree reckless endangerment - 3 counts, and operating while intoxicated - 2nd offense.

Police say Vang was booked into Dane County jail Monday night.

Vang is accused of crashing into three pedestrians on South Park Street Saturday night with his SUV.  One of the pedestrians died at the hospital.

Officials on Monday identified her as 24-year-old UW student Wenxin Huai.
