Madison Police looking for help connecting string of delivery driver robberies

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police in Madison are asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects believed to be connected to a string of strong armed, delivery driver robberies.

Police allege the three suspects were most recently involved in a robbery on Thursday, around 9:25 pm when a delivery driver was assaulted and robbed on the 6500 block of Raymond Rd.

The suspects are described as three African American males in their early teens; two of whom had lean builds, the other described as heavyset. All three suspects were wearing hoodies at the time of the robbery; one white, one dark colored, and one multi-colored hoodie.  

MPD West District detectives are drawing similarities between this most recent robbery, to three others where delivery drivers were targeted after being sent to addresses on the 6500 block of Raymond Rd.

The first incident occurred at 5:00 pm on April 1st when the delivery person was assaulted and robbed; the robbery happened on April 10th around 9:00 pm the delivery driver had their cell phone taken; and on April 14th the driver was confronted around 6:00 pm but was able to get away.In all four cases, police say there have been between one and three suspects perpetrating the robbery; in three of the robberies the driver was asked to make change before being robbed.
