Madison police say a 31 year old man was hit by a car while jaywalking on East Washington Avenue Monday night. He was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening. At this time police don't expect charges against the driver . She was driving through a green light in the 3000 Block of East Wash about 10:30, and says the man walked in front of her car.
