MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ The Wisconsin Elections Commission is telling President Donald Trump's commission investigating election fraud that it won't turn over any information until it is paid for.
The chair of the Wisconsin Elections Commission on Friday sent a letter reiterating that the state does not collect all of the information Trump's panel is seeking. Most of the data Wisconsin collects is public information and available for purchase to anyone who can afford it.
The state says it will fulfill Trump's request for the $12,500 fee.
Wisconsin Elections Commission Chairman Mark Thomsen says in the letter that confidential data Trump had asked for ``may only be shared only with law enforcement agencies for law enforcement purposes and with agencies of other states for official purposes.''
