Wendy's worker foils armed robbery

An armed robbery attempt at a Wendy's on Madison's East Side didn't go as planned, for the suspect. Madison police say an employee was taking out the garbage at the South Stoughton Road location just after 12:30 Wednesday morning when they were confronted by a suspect with a gun.  The victim was able to disarm the suspect, and threw the gun before running into the store and locking the door. No arrests have been made.
